Call for Workshops / Tutorials

Tutorials mitwirkt.

Alle Vorschläge sind über https://www.conftool.com/btw2027/ einzureichen.

Call for Workshops / Tutorials

Complementing the scientific and industrial program, the BTW offers a series of workshops and tutorials providing the opportunity for in-depth discussion of specialized topics. We therefore invite the submission of proposals for workshops with a duration of half a day or a full day, as well as proposals for tutorials in the format of one session (1.5 hours) or two sessions (3 hours).

A workshop or tutorial proposal should comprise at most three pages and must be submitted as a PDF document (according to the layout guidelines, see https://gi.de/service/publikationen/lni). The document should include the following information:

  • Names, affiliations, and email addresses of all organizers, indicating the primary contact person(s).
  • A short description of the workshop or tutorial, including title and topic, as well as a brief summary of the technical questions addressed.
  • A draft of the Call for Papers (for workshops only).
  • Preferred duration, intended format, and an estimate of the expected number of participants.
  • A short description of previous editions of the workshop series or tutorial (if applicable).
  • Willingness to contribute to the publication of the contributions or materials as part of the BTW 2027 conference proceedings (LNI style, see https://gi.de/service/publikationen/lni).

Logistics

The workshops will take place at the BTW 2027 venue before the main conference (Monday/Tuesday, 15 and 16 March 2027). The tutorials are expected to be embedded in the main conference. Both workshops and tutorials benefit from the organizational infrastructure of BTW 2027 (rooms, coffee breaks, participant registration, etc.). The respective organizing team is therefore expected to collaborate with the local BTW 2027 team on the organizational details as well as on promoting the workshop or tutorial.

All proposals must be submitted via https://www.conftool.com/btw2027/.
